Our Request Point Program is very simple. In a nutshell, Request Points allow you to get items from another trader on BlackBookSwap for free*!
The more points you have, the more items you can request at BlackBookSwap!

* There is a Gifting fee of one (1) US Dollar per book, and $.50 cents per magazine to BlackBookSwap for every item you recieve.

There are several ways to earn Request Points here at BlackBookSwap.

• 1. For every 10 items you add into the swap inventory, you recieve 1 Point. (Magazines are NOT included. You may list as many as you have, but they will not count towards your 10)
• 2. For every book you send AND recieve POSITIVE feedback confirmation on, you recieve 1 Point.
• 3. You will recieve 1 credit for every new user you refer, who completes their first Point requirment. (NOTE: You will recieve only 1 credit for their FIRST Point requirement completion. Any subsequent points they make, you do NOT recieve a credit for.)
• 4. We use the PCC System and METROS (click here) as our supporting community currency with our Request Point system. You can purchase Request Points at any time by using the Purchase Points via METROS link in your account.

All pending points are listed in your Request Points account and will stay there until approved/confirmed by BlackBookSwap.

Once any pending points have been approved, they will be released and your account will be credited with the value of those points. Ready for you to request on whatever you want.

You must login to your account in order to view the status of your points.

During the checkout procces you'll be able to pay for your order with your Request Points balance.

Currently, for every 5 (five) US Dollars in retail value = 1 Point for books. Magazines will typically cost only 1 Point. DVDs and VHS will be about 1 or 2 points.
For example:
          Book Retail Cost:  $20.00
          Your Request Point Cost  4 Points

Please note, we reserve the right to make changes to the above rate at any time without prior notice. The rate shown here will always be current.

If you have a balance in your Request Points Account, you can use those points to request Items at BlackBookSwap.
During the checkout proccess, on the same page that you would usually select a payment method, there will be a box to enter the amount of points you wish to use. Enter the amount of points you would like to spend or tick the box to use all available points. Please note, you will still have to select another payment method for the Gifting Fee* to BlackBookSwap. Under most circumstances we use Paypal. Click here
Continue the checkout procedure and at the confirmation page you'll notice that the value of the points redeemed will have been credited towards your order. Once you confirm your order, your Shopping Points account will be updated and the points used deducted from your balance.
Redeemable points will not be given, until payment is verified.

Basically, if you do not have any points, you cannot Request any items! If you only have 1 point, and need more for the item you want to request, earn more points! You may also purchase points at the PCC Bank. The BlackBookSwap Account number to transfer points to is: 100001

"Word-of-mouth" advertising is the most powerful form of advertising there is.
Referral Points is based on the idea that everyone should benefit from your referrals.
Your Referral code is your registered email address with us.
Once your referred friends has completed their first Point requirement and earned their first point, we will reward your Points account with 1 point. NOTE: This is on their FIRST earned point only! .

You do NOT earn points for leaving Reviews and Feedback, but they are critical to our system!
When you recieve an item, be SURE YOU LEAVE A REVIEW/FEEDBACK for that item! In this way, we know you recieved your item, and other new BlackBookSwap traders will be informed when they go to do business with that trader.
Your Review/Feedback should Include:

• Whether or not you recieved your item
• Was your item recieved in a timely fashion.
• You may include your opinion on the condition of the item.
• Be truthful and objective.
• You may NOT leave posts that have spam, commercial or advertising content or links. If your account is found to do so, it will be expunged with no warning.
• Reviews/Feedback should NOT abuse, harass, or threaten another's personal safety .

BlackBookSwap reserves the right to refuse or remove any review that does not comply with above conditions.
BlackBookSwap staff reserves the right to correct misspelled words, grammatical errors.
BlackBookSwap is not responsible or liable in any way for ratings and reviews posted by its customers.
BlackBookSwap reserves the right to remove anyone deemed in violation of rules as set forth by this site.

Currently, no restrictions apply to what items may be purchased using your points balance. HOWEVER You CANNOT earn points when you list magazines. You may list as many as you like, but they will not count towards the required set of 10 to earn your point.
